Coffee Reduces Risk Of Diabetes


A study from Huazhong University, China, found three compounds contained in the beverage can block the toxic build up of a protein known to trigger the long-term condition. Scientists now say drinking coffee can help reduce the risk of diabetes. A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, studied that people who drink four or more cups of coffee a day have a 50 per cent lower risk of getting type 2 diabetes.
