Meditation Helps Relief Stress

By Norman E. Rosenthal, M.D.

Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Georgetown Medical School

Stress is among us no matter if we like it or not.  Stress can be very troublesome and very hard to crop with. Researchers have suggested at least six different ways that psychological stress can kill you, all of which involve some sort of damage to the heart or arteries.

One way to crop with stress is through meditation. Meditation can have an extraordinary impact on ours physical-well being.  Researches have show that overall, in the study of 711 people, blood pressure had dropped significantly in all of the groups that were practicing Meditation compared to the control group that was not practicing Meditation.
